Baxter International recalled two lots of 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection IV saline due to fibreglass contamination, posing risks of blood clots and death. The recall affects 14 US states and was announced on 25 August 2026. The FDA classified it as a voluntary recall, and Baxter is contacting affected customers for returns.
