Selkirk Copper Mines plans to restart the Minto mine in Yukon, Canada, by H2 2028, following a positive PEA. The project has a 13-year mine life, with peak production of 27,200 mt/year of copper-equivalent. Initial capital is estimated at C$186 million, with an after-tax NPV of C$494 million. Consolidated Copper Corp aims to restart open-pit mining at the Tschudi mine in Namibia by early 2027, with US$30–40 million in capital required, targeting 14,000 mt/year of copper cathode production.
