Fine Fragrance’s Sweet Smell of Success Lasts
Barclays analyst Lauren Lieberman said the fine fragrance market remains strong and is growing more normalized after prior double-digit gains. Takasago attributed progress to global growth and expects continued strength in China and Southeast Asia. Supplier updates showed IFF low-single-digit fine fragrance growth, DSM-Firmenich double-digit like-for-like H1 gains, Givaudan 7.3% like-for-like H1, and Symrise midsingle-digit Q2 decline. Takasago reported FY26-27 Q1 overall sales up 14.3% to 65.81
