Kioxia Fell 13% and SoftBank Fell 7% as the Blue Wave Hit Tokyo
Kioxia (KXIAY) fell over 13% and SoftBank (SFTBY) dropped around 7% in Tokyo trading following U.S. election results. Investors feared Democratic gains could lead to stricter data center regulations, impacting AI infrastructure spending. Kioxia's decline also followed its lower-than-expected quarterly profit guidance. Other suppliers like Advantest (ATEYY), Fujikura (FKURF), and Furukawa Electric also saw declines.
