Interactive Brokers (IBKR) Turns Every Revenue Dollar Into 77 Cents of Pretax Profit
Interactive Brokers (IBKR) reported Q2 earnings of $0.69 per share, up from $0.51 a year earlier, with net revenues rising to $1.90 billion. Customer accounts and equity grew 34% and 40% respectively. Revenue increases came from higher trading volumes and interest income. Pretax margin was 77%, and a quarterly dividend of $0.0875 per share was declared. Costs related to execution and regulatory fees increased, and currency fluctuations impacted earnings.
