Lithia & Driveway Increases Share Repurchase Authorization By $500 Mln To $726 Mln
Lithia & Driveway (LAD) said it increased its share repurchase authorization by $500 million to $726 million. Since March 31, it bought about 505,000 shares for over $137 million at a weighted average price of $272, about 2.2% of shares outstanding. Year-to-date, it repurchased about 1.45 million shares for nearly $396 million at $274 (6.2%). The company attributed the increase to confidence in its strategy and cash flow.
