NOMAD Power Solutions (NMAD) advanced to Phase 3 of its Vermont energy storage project, backed by a $9.5M DOE award. The $19M project will deploy up to eight transportable battery units across five sites. NOMAD's mobile storage aims to improve grid flexibility and resilience, with Green Mountain Power already using its system for peak management and maintenance support.
