Dutch industry grows thanks to AI and chips despite wars
The Dutch manufacturing sector expanded in July 2026, with the NEVI Purchasing Managers' Index staying above 50, driven by demand for AI infrastructure and advanced semiconductors, according to the NEVI survey and Rabobank. ASML expects 30% production growth in 2027 and another 30% in 2028. Other Dutch chip suppliers cited include NXP, ASM International, and BESI. Geopolitical risks and shortages could slow momentum.
