Ohmyhome Ltd sells real estate business for US$1 with operations to continue under private ownership

Ohmyhome Ltd said it sold its wholly owned real estate brokerage holding company, Ohmyhome (BVI), to Sterling Oat for US$1, in June 18 SEC filings. The sale followed declining revenue and ongoing losses; as of March 31, BVI liabilities exceeded assets by $14.77m and Ohmyhome waived $19m in debt. Ohmyhome will focus on digital marketing while property operations continue under private ownership led by Race and Rhonda Wong.
