Quanta Computer and Quantinuum signed a collaborative development agreement to build hardware infrastructure for future Quantinuum trapped-ion quantum computers. The work targets more modular, manufacturable, and scalable systems, combining Quantinuum’s QCCD trapped-ion approach with Quanta’s experience in manufacturing computing and cloud infrastructure. Quantinuum’s H2 reports 56 fully connected qubits and two-qubit gate fidelity above 99.9%.

Quantinuum said it signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Singapore Institute of Technology to train and expand Singapore’s quantum workforce. The plan includes joint practical curriculum, educational access to Quantinuum quantum software and simulators, and workshops. The company cited its R&D presence and planned Helios quantum processor deployment in Singapore.
