RB Global’s (RBA) Earnings Jump While Its Take Rate Shrinks
RB Global (RBA) reported Q2 earnings with net income up 33% YoY to $132M, EPS up 34% to $0.71, and revenue up 11% to $1.3B. Automotive segment drove GTV growth of 13%. Acquisitions boosted growth, but organic GTV growth was 7%. Service revenue take rate fell 110 bps to 20.0%. Management raised full-year guidance and increased the dividend. Hedge fund ownership declined, and short interest is high at 10.54% of float.
