Robinhood’s Second Venture BDC Lists at a Discount, Testing Retail Access to Early-Stage Private Markets:
Robinhood Ventures Fund II (BDC) priced 8 million shares at $25, raising a $225.5 million fund size, or $255.5 million if underwriters exercise an option, and began trading on the NYSE as RVII. Shares opened at $22.50, about 10% below IPO price. The 1940 Act BDC is advised by a Robinhood Markets subsidiary and targets early-stage private companies, including YC-linked firms.
