Skyward Specialty grows agriculture and A&H as it trims property and captives
Skyward Specialty Insurance Group reported Q2 2026 combined ratio of 89.5% and diluted operating EPS of $1.30, up 46% YoY. Gross written premiums rose 13.3% to $740.6M pro forma, with net written premiums at $485.6M. Management grew agriculture and A&H while reducing property and captives; Apollo acquisition closed Jan 1. Book value per share rose to $28.55 and it repurchased 223k shares for $9.7M.
