Labour shortage hurts West Red Lake Gold output
West Red Lake Gold Mines (WRLG) cut its 2023 production target by 25% to 27,000-32,000 oz. due to labour shortages and mining challenges. CEO Shane Williams cited difficulties in extracting remnant pillars. Shares fell 12% to 61¢. The company plans to use the existing mill for nearby deposits but needs consistent output first.
