Activist investor calls on Zevia board to sell business
Activist investor Kanen Wealth Management, which owns about 4% of Zevia, urged the board to review strategy and consider selling the US zero-sugar soft-drinks maker, citing a sale value of $2.75 to $3.75 per share versus about $1.30. Kanen criticized governance and succession. Zevia reported Q2 net sales of $45m (+1.1% YoY) and wider losses, and kept FY net sales guidance of $170m to $175m.
