GEO Group signs 10‑year ICE contract for 2,329‑bed Texas immigration complex

The GEO Group announced a 10‑year intergovernmental service agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to operate its Big Spring Complex in Texas. The facility, comprising a 1,404‑bed Flightline site and a 925‑bed Cedar Hill site, is expected to generate about $200 million in annual revenue in its first full year. The contract adds to a second 10‑year ICE deal for a 1,635‑bed center in Tacoma, Washington, projected to bring $140 million annually. Chairman and CEO George C. Zoley said the Texas complex will help meet growing federal immigration processing needs.

The contracts add roughly $340 million of annual revenue to GEO’s pipeline, strengthening its cash flow ahead of its Q3 2026 earnings release (the company noted the impact in its press release). The news lifted GEO shares in pre‑market trading, indicating investor optimism about the new revenue stream.
