Alstom wins 15‑year, £800 million maintenance contract extension with Greater Anglia

Alstom announced a 15‑year extension of its maintenance agreement with UK rail operator Greater Anglia. The contract is valued at £800 million and covers the upkeep of 133 Class 720 Aventra trainsets, securing roughly 100 jobs. Maintenance will be performed from the Seven Kings depot and the revenue will be recorded in Q3 of FY2026/27. The deal runs into the early 2040s.
