Chemours reports higher third-quarter profit as adjusted EBITDA rises

Chemours reported third-quarter 2026 net sales of $1.5 billion, net income of $196 million, or $1.29 per diluted share, and adjusted EBITDA of $200 million. Adjusted earnings were $31 million, or $0.21 per diluted share, compared with $26 million, or $0.17 per diluted share, a year earlier. The company said pricing in Titanium Technologies and demand for Advanced Performance Materials offset weaker Thermal & Specialized Solutions sales, while it also launched Faizeon liquid-cooling products, completed the Kuan Yin property sale, and reached a PFAS litigation settlement with North Carolina and 11 local entities.

The $196 million GAAP profit included a $150 million receipt tied to PFAS insurance proceeds, making adjusted earnings a clearer measure of the quarter's operating performance. Chemours expects full-year 2026 adjusted EBITDA of $775M-$800M, while its fourth-quarter outlook calls for seasonal weakness in some segments and growth in APM Performance Solutions.
