Nikkei Rebounds as Chip Shares Recover From Early Selloff
Tokyo stocks rebounded July 14 after an early drop of nearly 1,000 points, led by buybacks in semiconductor and AI-related shares. The Nikkei 225 closed at 67,743.50 (+0.74%) and TOPIX rose 0.79%. Kioxia Holdings and Advantest gained, helped by strength in Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, easing JGB yields and a firmer risk tone.
