Nifty hits six-day losing streak as crude tops $91; IT stocks lead market selloff
India’s Nifty fell for a sixth straight session and the Sensex for a third, pressured by Brent crude above $91 amid renewed US-Iran tensions, higher US bond yields, FII selling, and a weaker rupee. Nifty 50 ended at 24,154.90 (-0.55%) and Sensex at 77,235.46 (-0.63%). Infosys, Bharti Airtel and HDFC Bank led declines.
