Ericsson was named the sole global technology partner in an SK Telecom-led consortium for South Korea’s Hyper-AI Network Infrastructure Demonstration Project, under the AI Highway plan led by MSIT and NIA. Ericsson will provide its EIAP platform, AI rApps, and open network management for autonomous network control. Pilots run through 2027, with Ericsson’s AI-RAN planned at KG Mobility’s site.
