GEN Restaurant Group Announces $100M Buyout Offer
GEN Restaurant Group Inc. said it received a letter of intent from an unnamed buyer to acquire its restaurant operations. The deal is valued at about $100 million and would let GEN keep its consumer-packaged goods business. Chairman David Kim said the move could support focusing on CPG. GEN shares rose 11% to $2.02, valuing the company at about $66 million, according to Nasdaq trading.
