BofA to buy nearly 50% stake in Jio Credit for $1.9b amid India push
Bank of America will buy up to a 49.9% stake in Jio Credit, the non-bank lending arm of Jio Financial Services, for 182.68 billion rupees ($1.92 billion). BofA initially gets 26.5%, rising after warrant exercise. The deal values Jio Credit at about $3.8 billion, and Jio Credit will issue shares and warrants worth up to 66.13 billion and 116.55 billion rupees.
