Alaska Adds Two New Europe Flights As It Continues on International Growth Path
Alaska Airlines, part of Alaska Air Group, will add flights to Paris and Athens in May 2027, expanding its international network. The airline, which acquired Hawaiian Airlines in 2024, aims to turn Seattle into a global hub. The new routes will compete with Delta and Air France on the Paris route and offer a monopoly on the Athens route. The flights will be operated using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. Alaska plans to operate at least 12 long-haul international routes from Seattle by 2030.
