Netflix is in talks with soccer stars Megan Rapinoe and Marta to serve as analysts for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, according to The Athletic. Rapinoe is being considered for a studio role, while Marta’s involvement depends on her playing status. This will be Netflix’s first major live sports event, with the company focusing on studio programming and announcer selection. Netflix has hired Elle Duncan and Andres Cantor for its World Cup coverage.
