UK's Competition And Markets Authority (CMA) Initiates Review Of Brink’s $6.6 Billion NCR Atleos Deal
The UK's CMA has begun a Phase 1 review of Brink’s $6.6B acquisition of NCR Atleos, a deal announced in February 2026. The review will assess potential competition impacts and determine if the deal falls under UK merger rules. The CMA will decide by October 2026. The companies aim to close the deal in Q1 2027, pending regulatory approvals. According to the companies, the deal is expected to generate $200M in annual cost synergies and 35% EPS accretion.
