TikTok and YouTube ruled 'not safe enough' for children
Ofcom’s new report says TikTok and YouTube’s content feeds are “not safe enough” for children, citing a lack of significant commitments to reduce harmful content. Ofcom previously called for stronger online-safety action and warns noncompliance could trigger “toughest enforcement action” and formal investigations. Meta, Snap and Roblox agreed to added anti-grooming measures.
