SC business owners sue Dave & Busters over gambling laws
A group of South Carolina business owners has filed a lawsuit against Dave & Busters, alleging that the arcade machines in their Greenville and Myrtle Beach locations violate state gambling laws. The lawsuit, filed by SC Citizens For Equal Enforcement of Gambling Laws, LLC, seeks to highlight what they claim is selective enforcement of gambling laws against local businesses and asks for refunds for customers who lost money playing arcade games. The group's counsel states their goal is to bring clarity and equality to the video game entertainment industry in South Carolina.
