NZ sharemarket falls 0.96% as Middle East uncertainty lifts oil price – Market close
New Zealand shares fell 0.96% at the market close as Middle East uncertainty supported higher oil prices. Brent crude rose to US$83.77. Locally, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, Auckland Airport, Infratil, a2 Milk and Contact Energy declined. T&G Global rose after reporting 2.6% revenue growth to $572.3m and operating profit of $11.6m. ResMed and other stocks also moved.
