The platform serves applications in retail, logistics, healthcare, supply chains and industrial environments. Energous offers PowerBridge transmitter systems for powering multiple receiver-enabled devices, receiver technology and integrated circuits, and the e-Sense battery-free tag and e-Compass cloud-based software platform. It develops, licenses and manufactures transmitter solutions, and provides components and software for proof-of-concept trials. Energous is a fabless semiconductor company that uses contract manufacturing partners. Its corporate headquarters is in San Jose, California.
